At Musemind, we’re growing fast and need another Design Director to lead our 15–20 person team working on enterprise-level projects. In this pivotal role, you’ll mentor future Design Managers, fostering leadership and guiding them to oversee projects effectively. You’ll also take ownership of creative and operational excellence while collaborating closely with your team.

What’s This Role About?

As Design Director for the extended team, you will oversee the design process on projects ranging from websites to mobile and SaaS applications. You’ll manage a talented group of designers while working closely with the COO and CDO. Your role includes nurturing leadership within the team, ensuring project quality, and maintaining alignment with the company’s goals.

• Lead a team of 15–20 designers and their Design Managers.
• Mentor your team to grow leadership and management skills.
• Oversee projects, resources, and workflows for optimal delivery.
• Review Design Managers’ work to ensure top-tier results.
• Collaborate with designers to maintain exceptional standards.
• Define strategies for team growth and leadership development.
• Deliver projects that meet client expectations and timelines.. 

• 5+ years of product design experience with 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor design leaders.
• Expertise in managing complex projects and design systems for enterprise clients.
• Strong visual design skills, including typography, layout, and color theory.
• Proficiency in Figma, Notion, Adobe Creative Suite, and tools like ClickUp.
• Experience working with clients and managing stakeholders.
• Preferably a background in a product-based company or large enterprise project.
• Passion for growth, leadership, and empowering teams to excel.
