What do we look for:
What You Will Do:
- Own design work across web, SaaS, and mobile. Handle full pages and features on your own. Keep the work in line with the project goals.
- Deliver complete design solutions from start to end. Break big requirements into clear tasks. This includes user flows, sitemaps, and information architecture.
- Mentor juniors. Guide 1 to 2 designers. Help them grow day by day and set a clear direction for them.
- Manage 2 to 3 projects at the same time. Balance your priorities. Keep the quality high across all of them.
- Present and defend your work to clients, online and in person. Expect regular client presentations, often with [MENA / international] clients. Tell a clear story and explain your design choices with confidence.
- Step in for the Senior Designer when needed. This is a growth opportunity, a step on the path toward Senior in 12 to 18 months, not extra load for its own sake.
- Find usability problems and suggest fixes. Review the work of clients and junior designers using design theory.
- Work well with PMs, engineers, and other team members. Stay mature and emotionally aware.
Use of AI Tools:
- Use AI across all stages of design. In research (secondary research, competitor analysis). In design (content prep, moodboards, ideas, asset creation). In delivery (documentation, UX audits).
- Build design layouts through prompting (for example, Figma Make). This is a must-have skill.
- Use AI image tools to create concept visuals, illustration styles, and brand-aligned images at client-ready quality.
- Lead AI-assisted design sprints. Run an AI-powered research, ideation, or documentation workflow on your own. Show the team the time you saved.
Hard Skills (Technical):
- Advanced Figma: master complex auto-layout, variants, tokens, advanced prototyping, constraints, shortcuts, and plugins.
- Advanced AI prompting across research, design, and delivery. Use tools like v0.dev, Lovable, or Figma Make to build layouts fast. This is a must-have skill.
- Use AI to make full dashboard or page layouts from prompts, then polish them into final designs. Cut your layout time in a clear, measurable way.
- Use AI to write first-draft design documents, heuristic checklists, and annotation notes. Then review and fix them for accuracy.
- Design for conversions. Keep a strong business focus, with usability and human-centered thinking.
- Strong in secondary research and competitor analysis. Suggest better UX features that make the user journey simpler.
- Good with typography, color, iconography, and data visualization. A sharp eye for what to improve.
- Know the basics of accessibility (WCAG). Use good contrast, scalable text, and keyboard-friendly design.
Soft Skills (Behavior):
- Have an adaptive mindset. Be ready to learn new tools and platforms quickly. Push yourself to grow. This is very important. A habit of learning from books is a plus.
- Strong autonomous judgment. Make sound design decisions on your own and stand behind them with clear reasoning.
- Thrive in our feedback culture: [direct, regular critique; we challenge the work, not the person]. Give and receive honest feedback with maturity.
- Clear English communication. Talk with foreign clients with confidence. Present designs with a clear story and clear reasons.
- Give helpful design critique based on design principles. Take feedback with maturity.
- Strong accountability and ownership. Set your own high standard. Become the person others trust for reliable work.
- Spot team or product problems early, before others raise them. Suggest fixes that make the project better.
- Promote AI use within the team. Share your AI wins with real time-saving examples in team reviews.
- Use good judgment with AI. Know when AI is helpful and when human design thinking should take over. Do not blindly accept AI output.
